AYUDANDO A LOS ANIMALES ALMANZORA – EVENTOS DE RECAUDACIÓN DE FONDOS

HAA depende de la financiación de la venta de artículos donados en su tienda benéfica, eventos de recaudación de fondos y donantes generosos.

2024 fue un buen año para la tienda benéfica de Arboleas, manteniendo ocupados a los voluntarios. En noviembre, se donaron muchos artículos de la tienda para ayudar a las víctimas de las inundaciones en Valencia y se donaron toallas y ropa de cama a Maz’s Canine Rescue cuando su refugio se inundó.

Los eventos de recaudación de fondos son oportunidades para recaudar no solo los fondos que tanto se necesitan, sino también para concienciar sobre el valioso trabajo que realiza la organización benéfica para ayudar a muchos gatos y perros en el área del Valle del Almanzora. Algunos eventos son organizados y dirigidos por HAA, mientras que otros son organizados por personas o grupos que apoyan a la organización benéfica.

Algunos de los principales eventos de recaudación de fondos de 2024:

Evento ‘Terapia de día holística’, 14 de junio

Organizado para HAA por Maya Bamford, la propietaria del encantador Sol Yoga Center. Una mañana relajante con una variedad de terapias ofrecidas por voluntarios cualificados. Había puestos que vendían plantas, joyas, libros y pasteles, y un sorteo de premios. El evento recaudó 510 euros para HAA.

Un evento musical en Bar Internacional, 20 de septiembre

Charlotte Daines organizó una fantástica noche de música en vivo para recaudar fondos para HAA. Hubo música y baile con comida y una rifa. Los puestos que vendían artesanía y pasteles estaban a cargo de voluntarios. Fue una noche exitosa en la que se recaudaron 1.697 euros en total para HAA.

Evento “Santa Paws”, 21 de diciembre

Para celebrar la temporada, HAA organizó este evento. Hubo música en vivo, comida casera y postres, puestos de regalos, artesanía, libros, una rifa y una tómbola. Para los niños, un castillo inflable y pintura facial. Papá Noel estaba allí para posar para fotos con los visitantes y sus perros, tomadas por un fotógrafo profesional. Gracias a todos sus voluntarios, fue una manera divertida y festiva de terminar el año en el que se recaudaron 1.063 € para HAA.

Mercado de pulgas ‘Brunch & Browse‘

El grupo de teatro ‘The Luvvies’ realizó una rifa durante tres noches para HAA y APSA

El evento ‘Arboleas Rocks’, un concierto de rock en el que HAA tenía un puesto y recaudó 310 €

‘Arboleas Ladies’ organizó un evento a beneficio de HAA y recaudó 305 €.

Se vendieron llaveros conmemorativos en el puesto de Izzy en el mercado de Los Llanos. Todos los beneficios se destinaron a HAA.

HELPING ANIMALS ALMANZORA – FUNDRAISING EVENTS

HAA relies on funding from the sale of donated items in their charity shop, fundraising events and generous donors.

2024 was a good year for the charity shop in Arboleas, keeping volunteers busy. In November many shop items were donated to help the victims of the floods in Valencia and towels and bedding were donated to Maz’s Canine Rescue when her shelter flooded.

The fundraising events are opportunities to raise not only badly needed finances but also awareness of the valuable work the charity does to help many cats and dogs in the Almanzora Valley area. Some events are organised and run by HAA while others by individuals or groups who support the charity.

Some of the main fundraising events of 2024:

‘Holistic Day Therapy’ Event, Jun 14

Organised for HAA by Maya Bamford, the owner of the lovely Sol Yoga Center. A relaxing morning was had with a variety of therapies on offer by skilled volunteers. There were stalls selling plants, jewelry, books and cakes, and a prize lucky dip. The event raised €510 euros for HAA.

A Bar Internacional Music Event, September 20

A fantastic evening of live music was organised by Charlotte Daines to rase funds for HAA. There was music and dancing with food and a raffle. Stalls selling craftwork and cakes were run by volunteers. It was a successful night with a grand total of €1,697 being raised for HAA.

‘Santa Paws’ Event, December 21

To celebrate the season this event was organised by HAA. There was live music, homemade food and desserts, gift stalls, crafts, books and a raffle and a tombola. For the kids a bouncy castle and face painting. Santa Claus was there to pose for photos with visitors and their dogs, taken by a professional photographer. Thanks to all their volunteers it was a fun and festive way to round off the year that raised €1,063 for HAA.

Memorial keyrings were sold at Izzy’s Stall at Los Llanos Market. All profits went to HAA.
